Interactivity and Storytelling

http://lesailes.hermes.com/us/en/
I chose to use a portion of the Hermès website. Hermès is a French fashion house founded b
Thierry Hermès in 1837. Hermès specializes in luxury goods and accessories. They are especially know for thier hand painted silk scarves. I chose this portion of the website because you can navigate videos that explain everything from the life of the founder of the company to an intimate introduction the head designer. You can even navigate through videos of the latest add campaigns. There's a lot of media to explore it may take a couple of hours to fully explore. One of my favorite features is a flash video that consist of a group of photos featuring a new collection that blends in with a nature scene. The audio to the video sounds like a busy downtown metropolitan area which makes you thing about an urban jungle. This is appropriate considering the background looks somewhat like a jungle. The cool thing though is that this particular example turns the cursor into a magnifying glass so that you can inspect the pieces from the collection in depth.

Below are some more screenshots for the website as well as a link to the portion of the website specified above.
